What We Cover

Water and Sewer Bill Assistance

Help with overdue water and sewer bills, including applicable taxes and fees, so households stay connected to safe, reliable service.

Minor Plumbing Repairs

Coverage up to $1,000 for essential plumbing repairs such as leaks, faulty fixtures, and other maintenance needs that keep water flowing safely in the home.

Education and Support

Resources and guidance to help households understand water access, prevent future issues, and make informed decisions about their home water needs.

Eligibility Requirements

What to bring or upload: Valid ID, Proof of income, Proof of residence, and Current water bill. Other documents may be required.

Income-Based

To qualify, your total monthly household income must fall within the income limits outlined below. These limits vary based on household size and are updated periodically. You can check your eligibility and find more details by visiting the link provided below.

Situational

The bill must be in the applicant’s name, and the household must meet at least one of the following:

1. Eligible households must be 55 or older.

2. Currently receiving Social Security disability income.

Have a current unpaid water and/or sewer bill, or have an established need for plumbing repair due to a leak on personal property.

Plumbers

For plumbing companies or individual plumbers to be eligible to provide repair services for qualified applicants, they must be licensed and maintain insurance and bonding according to laws or regulations of the jurisdiction in which services are rendered.
